Summary: We collect the data you send us via text message to provide our service. We share lead data with your organization and configured integrations (CRM, Google Sheets). We do not sell your personal data.

Lead data you capture is shared with authorized members of your organization through the Link Lead dashboard and configured integrations.

When you configure integrations, we share lead data with:
- CRM Systems: HubSpot, Salesforce (as configured by you)
- Google Sheets: For spreadsheet-based tracking
- Other integrations: As configured in your account settings
3.3 With Service Providers
We use third-party services to operate Link Lead:
- Twilio: SMS messaging infrastructure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud hosting and data storage
- OpenAI: AI language processing
- Payment processors: Subscription billing
3.4 We Do NOT Sell Your Data
Side Nerd Apps does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Important: Standard SMS text messaging is not encrypted end-to-end. Do not send highly sensitive information (passwords, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers) via text message to any service, including Link Lead.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Lead Data: Retained while your subscription is active and for 90 days after cancellation
- Text Message Logs: Retained for 12 months for service delivery and troubleshooting
- Account Information: Retained while your account is active and as required for legal/business purposes

6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Access and Export
You can access your lead data through the Link Lead dashboard. Contact us for a full data export.
6.2 Correction
You can update or correct lead data through the dashboard or by contacting support.
6.3 Deletion
You can request deletion of your data by emailing emily@sidenerdapps.com. Note that some data may be retained for legal or business purposes.
6.4 Opt-Out of SMS
Reply STOP to any Link Lead message to stop receiving automated replies. This will disable your ability to capture leads via text.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to Know: Request what personal information we collect and how it's used
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
- Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

Link Lead is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Link Lead after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
